I brought my rating up to four stars, now that they have made it possible again to score for more than four players. Although, I can only score for one player (myself) when I am using my Apple Watch, so I still have to take the phone out of my pocket to score for my partners. I hope they fix that soon. Golfshot is still the best golf app out there!

I love the app. It is easier and cheaper than sky caddie. My sky caddie often times runs out of battery and is a pain to sink. No sinking problem with the app.

This app works great. Been using for three years and would not change. Accurate distances and course info. Love it

Select wheels for scoring on the Watch, really? The old interface was fine. Plus the wheels were locked and unchangeable for me. Had to go back to Hole19 app after first hole today cause I couldnt score from the watch with GolfShot. Maybe dont fix what aint broke.

I paid $30 for this app 5 years ago and it has been well worth it! Not sure about the negative reviews as I never had to pay twice for this. The GPS on this app is superior to the other free GPS apps.

Ive been using this app for several years and its been helpful in identifying areas of my game that need improvement. The gps works pretty good on iPhone 6, but for more reliable readings I use a laser.

Upgraded golfshot 31usd + golfshot-pro another 31usd?? I am paying Twice for exactly the same app. Apple do not believe they should refund one of the two payments

Promised a lifetime subscription in 2010. Now they demand monthly or yearly payments. Apple defers to the creator of this App. Apple supports bait and switch tactics. No integrity for either party.

This is getting silly. I paid a one time fee of $29.99 years ago. The gps works no differently than the other version. This is just a way to try and get more money from people who paid a one time fee. I am also receiving multiple emails almost weekly trying to get me to spend more money at $29.99 PER YEAR! Are you crazy? The funny thing is that they offer a discount if you follow a link to their website to enter credit card details. I am assuming not only are they trying to get more money from people who paid a one time fee. They are also avoiding using the Apple Store for the upgrade sale. Thats why they take you to their website. Nice way to avoid Apple fees I guess.

I wouldnt want to play a round without it.

Been a long time GS user, but have probably tried at least 10 other Golf GPS apps. I always go back to GS because its just much cleaner and more functional. Last update crashed my GS because of my older IOS version. I contacted support and they sent out another update to fix it. Thats awesome customer service.

I have used the app for a couple years and it works well. When I got an Apple Watch, I was disappointed that the Watch only showed yardage to center of the green. This morning I upgraded to Pro and then I got the full watch functionality, and it is much better than using a dedicated watch like a Garmin (which I used before). With the watch, the app is awesome. Without the watch, it is good, but it is kind of pain to have to pull it out of my pocket, unlock, and wait for it to sync with GPS (I always walk on the golf course). With watch, I can keep phone in my pocket entire round.

This is an awesome app from tracking stats fairways hit, greens and putts made. Also it has tutorials on it which make it like a database of instruction in your hand and in the fly. The yardage are pretty accurate. Also you can keep track whats in your bag. Worth the money for sure!!

For $30 youd expect that this app would have it together. It doesnt. Somebody show me how the designer *thought* the end user was going to use this app! If you use it with your Apple Watch, I am telling you that it doesnt make any sense. The only thing you can really use the watch for is referencing the distance to the green, then you have to pull your phone out of your pocket to tell the app that youre at the ball. Only then does the watch tell you that you should use a particular club, so you go back to the watch and say ok, but it doesnt then select the club in the app, so you have to select the club in the app. Then, after youve marked all of your shots, the app doesnt add them up to give you a score, you have to type the score in! If you use this app at every hole the way it is designed today, 9 holes would take you 4 hours. Not only that but after you pay $30 for this thing, all of the best features go away after 7 days and then you have to pay a subscription to get them back!? I am convinced that the positive reviews of this app are fake. Golf shot must be paying for them. I cannot I sing anyone using this app and thinking that it is brilliant. Lots of features, zero common sense.

Used the watch app this weekend, very impressed. Saves phone battery life for the round and watch was still at 75% when done. However, we need to be able to post a full score including putts, sand, left/right, ob, etc. to be complete. Otherwise you still need to pull phone out. Can wait for round two.

The developers obviously screwed a lot of users when they made the subscription yearly. I fell prey to this as well. Very disappointed so I just deleted the app!

I purchased this app years ago, when the interface was simpler and the yardages came back correctly from power save mode. Now, coming back from power save mode, the yardages are WAY off, I have to click a number of times in order for the gps to home in correctly. I inquired to see if I can revert to the previous version and they told that I could not. I also dont like the fact that you can update to "golf shot pro" for a yearly fee. The reason why I purchased this app was the one time fee. I would give this app a 5 star rating if theyd give you the option of reverting to the previous version. I also dont like the new interface.
