Golfshot Plus App Reviews

I recently wrote a poor review because of the 7 day trial version, but once that trial ended I was still able to access most of the features of my previous paid version. I paid $30 for the app a couple years ago and even with the new version I can still access yardages, keep score and track my handicap. Still works well even without the subscription. Thanks guys.

Paid $30 for this a month ago now the new update locks me out unless I buy a new subscription. Scam.

Im not sure what the complaints are about. I bought the classic app for $30 and still have access to all the same features on this app that I did in the previous. It does say in my subscription that there are 158 days left though so we will see what happens with that.. That being said this app does seem a lot slower to allocate the gps signal and bounces around for way too long. I cant just take out my phone when Im at my ball I have to take it out a good while before to make sure the gps is locked in correctly. Battery life seems a lot better than the classic app. However I have a feeling that has to do with the gps issues. Some missing features Id like to see: -friend list (works on golfshot.com) - faster more accurate gps locking - easier way to go back to previous hole (swipe on left side?) -ability to track shot when Im already at ball, the app knows which tee Im playing from

I paid $30 for this app only for an upgrade to change the licensing model to a annual subscription....without my permission or consent. What was free is now $15 per year. Fortunately, I was able to restore the old version from my computer and I disabled automatic app updates. I will use that until it stops woking and switch to another app.

I cant even sign in on the new app! I signed in once, but since then Ive been kicked out and the sign in always fails. Please update so I can begin using this on the golf course again.

I bought this app outright a few years ago, now theyve disabled it unless I pay them more money. Total scam.

Purchased a fantastic product and used it faithfully and enthusiastically each year. Thought there was no harm in trying the upgrade but quickly realized my mistake after the promo...I could no longer use the original!!! This is blatantly a money grab, they took away the old product and force you to pay a subscription to receive any service. The old product was suffice for what I needed and I feel like it was stolen...I cant recommend this product therefore because of business practices, you have lost me and likely many others due to this shady decision. You should be ashamed.

Last update I am not able to add partner unless I have email address and if I hit continue without email just keeps popping up so have only been able to keep my own score.worked great last week

If you can stand the battery and data drain for a Rd of golf, this app is a really cost effective sky-caddie substitute.

Alls good with one exception. When one looks at their watch, they expect to see the yardage to the current hole. Unfortunately the unit does not automatically advance to the current hole. With that being the case, one has to go back to your phone to update to the current hole. Much too tedious.

No GPS and back to a paper scorecard!

Come on guys! Thats amateur. Just started my round today and now I cant use this app.

I know from a support email you are awaiting App Store approval for iOS 9 but it would be nice to know that before upgrading the os since I am back to using a scope. Looking forward to having this great app in use again.

I had to find this out the hard way, on the first tee this morning. Downloaded the free Golf GPS app and it worked immediately and accurately. I agree that adding players is frustrating. The GPS and scoring have worked well for me, but I liked the old interface better.

Bought the plus. Says my free subscription has expired and shuts down when I try to use it. Contacted support. Will update this review when I get a response.

The program works well but the constant up selling by emails can be a real pain. Every few days they are at you to buy or upgrade. Makes me want to switch to another program.

I like the program on my iPhone 6 although it takes a lot of battery. I had an iPhone 4 that ran Golfshot Classic very well but was real sluggish with Golfshot Plus. I have over 600 rounds of statistics that I really like. At first it seems like a lot of bother to enter all the shots while on the course but after a few rounds you get quite proficient at it. It adds another level of enjoyment to my game. I am looking forward to getting a Apple Watch. I think it will be even easier to enter data with it. All said I wouldnt be without my Golfshot Plus!

The Golfshot app is far and away, better than any other golf GPS app out there. Id even say its better than most store bought GPS systems. The aerial view is a key feature. Well worth the money spent!

Started golf 5 years ago..was shooting 132 now Im in low 90 sometimes in the 80s and see all my progress ,I recommend anyone who is serious bout golf for self Improvement to spend the yearly fee ..worth every penny

Great app works especially well with the Apple Watch
